I'm about to replace my old personal site for good, so before it disappears — a quick archive of where this all started: a WordPress page turned hand-coded homepage, and a very rough little birthday game I've since rebuilt from scratch.

My first real homepage

Started on WordPress in July 2015, way too limited creatively for what I wanted. So in winter 2018 I rebuilt it myself with HTML, CSS and JavaScript — my first real hand-coded homepage, and the thing that got me hooked on web development in the first place.

It's plain, a little dated, and very much a snapshot of where I was at the time — which is exactly why it's worth keeping around, even just as an archive.

The Birthday Game · then & now

A very old game, rebuilt with AI

Years ago I built a tiny choose-your-own-adventure as a birthday gift — plain HTML pages, barely any styling, pure early-web charm. Recently I rebuilt the whole thing from scratch with AI-assisted "vibe coding": same story, same choices, a completely different experience.
